The City of Tarpon Springs shoots fireworks off of Sunset Beach every 4th of July, but they're not the only ones. Fireworks can be seen all up and down the coast. We learned this year when our friend took us out in his boat to take them in from the water.
We launched from Craig Park early enough to head out to Anclote Island and hang out for a while. As sunset approached, we made our way towards Sunset Beach and positioned ourselves in plenty of time to have some snacks and drinks and chat for a bit.
The fireworks show was great! It was so great, in fact, that I got only terrible photos because I was paying so much attention to the display. Maybe I'll have more for you next year! Don't worry, you don't have to be in a boat to enjoy the show.
